   WELCOME & MEET OUR TEAM

   You will be met by our guide and driver at Surabaya Airport (Juanda International Airport). The journey will then continue toward Malang via the toll road (taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions). Afternoon Activity Options (depending on your arrival time): Option A: Historical & Colonial Heritage (Jodipan Colorful Village or Malang Town Square) Take a leisurely stroll around Malang’s iconic town square (Alun-Alun Malang) to stretch your legs after your flight. Visit the historic Dutch colonial-era district around Ijen Boulevard, known for its majestic rows of mature palm trees and heritage architecture. Option B: Coffee Culture & Relaxation Malang is well-known for its vibrant coffee culture. You can unwind at popular spots such as Lafayette Coffee & Eatery or The Grove Cafe Malang. Check-in at your hotel in Malang. Dinner: Enjoy authentic East Javanese cuisine at a selected local restaurant—for instance, try regional specialties like *Rawon* (a rich, black-colored beef soup) or other local favorites—before getting an early night’s rest in preparation for your trip to Tumpak Sewu on the second day.

   TUMPAK SEWU : INDONESIA'S NIAGARA FALLS

   After an early breakfast and check-out at your hotel in Malang, you will travel from Malang to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall (approximately 2.5 hours). Explore Tumpak Sewu: take in the view from the observation point, which offers a panoramic vista of the waterfall—resembling a curtain—set against the backdrop of Mount Semeru. The waterfall’s wide, semi-circular, curtain-like formation is reminiscent of Niagara Falls on the U.S.–Canada border. It stands approximately 120 meters tall and is situated in a valley at an elevation of about 450–500 meters above sea level. Return to the parking area, freshen up—with the opportunity to shower or change clothes—and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, embark on a long journey to Banyuwangi (approximately 6–7 hours, depending on traffic conditions). Enjoy dinner, check into your homestay or hotel in Banyuwangi (in the Ijen area), and get some early rest in preparation for your midnight trek.

   THE EXOTIC IJEN CRATER

   Wake-up call & drive to Paltuding (Ijen starting point, approx. 30–45 mins). Trek up to Mount Ijen crater rim (1.5–2 hours), witness the surreal Blue Flame, crater lake, and sunrise. Walk down to Paltuding & drive back to hotel for breakfast and shower. Lunch at local restaurant. Free & easy afternoon in Banyuwangi to rest and recover (or visit Boom Beach/local coffee spot). Dinner in Banyuwangi & overnight stay.

   THE AFRICA VAN JAVA : BALURAN

   Breakfast & check-out from Banyuwangi. Drive to Baluran National Park ("Africa van Java"). Explore Bekol Savanna (wildlife spotting: deer, peacocks, wild bulls) and visit Bama Beach & Mangrove trail. Lunch near Baluran/Situbondo area. Drive along the northern coastal route to Probolinggo city (approx. 4 hours). Dinner & check in at hotel in Probolinggo (e.g., Hotel Bromo Park).

    GET WET AT PEKALEN RIVER

    Breakfast & check-out from Probolinggo hotel. Transfer to Pekalen River basecamp. Enjoy 3 hours of exciting Pekalen Whitewater Rafting (canyons, waterfalls, bat caves). Local buffet lunch at rafting basecamp & shower/change. Drive to and visit Madakaripura Waterfall (entrance + motorbike taxi + canyon walk). Scenic drive up to Cemoro Lawang village (located directly on the edge of the Bromo crater caldera). Dinner, check-in to Bromo hotel/resort (e.g., Lava View Lodge / Cafe Lava), and early rest.

    CLOSING THE TRAIL : BROMO

    Woken up by 4x4 Jeep team. Drive across Sea of Sand up to Mt. Pananjakan / King Kong Hill for the iconic panoramic Bromo Sunrise (view of Mt. Bromo, Mt. Batok & Mt. Semeru). Drive down to the Sea of Sand, hike/horse ride to the Bromo Crater Rim and visit the Hindu Poten Temple. Return to hotel by Jeep for breakfast, hot shower, and packing. Check out and drive back to Surabaya Airport (2.5–3 hours via toll road) for evening flight departure.

Cancellation policy

• Participant-Initiated
• If you wish to cancel your booking, please submit your request in writing. Cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your written notice:
• 30+ days prior to departure: 100% refund (less processing/permit fees).
• 15–29 days prior to departure: 50% refund or 75% trip credit.
• 7–14 days prior to departure: 25% refund or 50% trip credit.
• Under 7 days / No-Show: Non-refundable.
• Reschedule
• 30+ Days Prior to Departure: You may request a one-time date change free of charge (subject to trip availability and permit re-issuance constraints).
• 15 to 29 Days Prior to Departure: Rescheduling is permitted with a rescheduling fee (15% of the total trip cost)
• Price Differences: If the new date or season carries a higher rate, participants are responsible for covering the cost difference.
• Less than 15 Days Prior to Departure: Direct date changes are not available. Standard cancellation terms apply, or you may transfer your spot to another person (see Spot Transfer below)

• You may transfer your booking to another individual up to 7 days before departure, provided the transferee meets all fitness and equipment requirements and any non-transferable permits are re-issued.
